A small village at the northern end of Espírito Santo, almost at the
border with Bahia, has preserved rare natural gems: mangroves,
mudflats, salt marshes, beaches and dunes. You will find out about its welcoming people and in lively “forró” night, an undeniable invitation: this paradise awaits you.
Itaúnas - Located right after the dunes, forming natural pools at low tide and it offers an exciting warm sunny day and a gorgeous sunset in the evening.
Riacho Doce – At the border of Espírito Santo with Bahia, this paradise reveals a clear river that flows into the beach painting, therefore, your eyes a breathtaking view.
Costa Dourada – Already in Bahia, with easy access through Itaúnas, you will discover three beautiful beaches with cliffs and a river that flow into the sea, providing warm water and a unique visual to this beaches.

Itaúnas State Park – Created in 1991, it preserves a variety of integrated ecosystems, with rare specimens of fauna and flora. It is a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site.
Hiking spots – The Park has several trails, the main ones are: Buraco do Bicho, Tamandaré, Rio, Borboletas, Ruínas, Pescadores and Alméscar.
Reis de Bois - Within European and medieval origin, this festivity takes place during the Christmas days in honor of the Holy Kings.
Ticumbi - Religious festival in honor of São Benedito, which takes place in January.
Alardo de São Sebastião - With Iberian origin, this dramatic play
represents the struggles between Christians and Moors celebrating this event.
